Yes! Our adult BJJ classes in Murfreesboro are perfect for beginners. You don’t need any previous experience or martial arts background — we’ll help you build a strong foundation from day one.
What should I wear to my first BJJ class?
For your first class, wear athletic clothing (like a t-shirt and shorts). We provide loaner uniforms (gis), and if you decide to join, our intro offer includes a free uniform.
What are the benefits of training BJJ?
Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu helps improve fitness, flexibility, self-defense, problem-solving, and confidence. It’s also a great way to relieve stress and build a strong community with your teammates.

Are your Muay Thai and boxing classes beginner-friendly?
Absolutely. Our adult striking classes welcome all levels. You'll learn real techniques while improving cardio, endurance, and discipline in a supportive environment.
What equipment do I need for Muay Thai or boxing?
For your first class, just bring water and athletic gear. We provide gloves and pads. As you progress, we recommend getting your own gloves, hand wraps, and shin guards (for Muay Thai).
What’s the difference between Muay Thai and boxing?
Boxing focuses on punches, footwork, and head movement. Muay Thai is known as the “art of eight limbs” and includes punches, kicks, knees, and elbows, along with clinch work.
🧒 Kids Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu (3–15)
What age can kids start BJJ at ?
Children can begin training as early as age 3. Our kids' BJJ classes are divided into Little Kids (ages 3–8) and Big Kids (ages 8–15) to provide age-appropriate instruction and structure.
What will my child learn in BJJ?
Kids will learn balance, coordination, self-defense, anti-bullying strategies, and respect for others — all while having fun and staying active. BJJ also helps build focus and confidence in and out of the gym.
Do you offer a trial class for kids?
Yes! We offer a free trial class so you and your child can experience the atmosphere before committing. Our instructors will guide you through the process.
