On the recommendation of a friend, I gave Coach Earl and this gym a try in 2017 — and I’ve been regular ever since. The learning environment continues to evolve and they truly help you troubleshoot at an individual level. You still have to put in the work, but they give you the best odds to grow.

The hardest thing I did was walking through that door. I was out of shape and nervous. Coach Earl and Tierra were incredibly welcoming and supportive. I’m only a few lessons in and I’m hooked.

If you want a workout that isn’t boring and teaches real skill, this is it. I’ve trained here for almost 7 years and still love coming every week. These people are the absolute best.

Our 3.5-year-old loves his Little Kids BJJ class! Perfect mix of structure, learning, and fun. He asks if he can go every day. We recommend them 100%.

I thought BJJ just wasn’t for me — until I tried Tennessee BJJ Academy. Coach Earl explains techniques in a way that truly clicks. I’ve surpassed fitness goals and grown in ways far beyond the mats.
